Caramelized Bananas with Chocolate Ganache

2 bananas, sliced lengthwise and then into thirds
1 Tbl butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 - 3/4 cup heavy cream

Melt butter in a skillet and when it stops foaming add bananas sliced side down. After about a minute sprinkle sugar into the pan. When the sugar starts to caramalize pour some heavy cream in, stir a bit and serve.

Ganache
Equal amounts of heavy cream and chopped up bittersweet chocolate (I used Hersheys Special Dark)

Bring the cream to a boil, take off heat and add chocolate stirring constantly. Let cool, it will thicken as it cools. Pour over bananas when desired thickness is reached.

Warning, this is EXTREMELY rich and filling!
