To have a heart
afire for You,
filled with a
blazing passion
that so consumes me
that nothing
matters
except that I know You
and love You
completely
is what I want
more than anything else
in the world.
Let the world around me
crumble to dust,
let all that I hold dear
be taken away from me,
but let me never lose You,
for You are everything
to me,
and without You
I would die.

Lord,
thank You again
for the peace
and comfort
You've given to me.
What a loving, generous Father
You are.
I finally realize You love me
and take pleasure
in giving to me.
Your love enfolds me,
and I know
how special I am to You.
I long for the day
I can look into Your face,
reach out and touch You
and tell You
how much I love You.

Lord,
Your heart
is so beautiful.
The deep tenderness
and caring love
I find there
draw me to You.
I love You so much
and You are my heart's desire.
You are so gentle and kind,
and I know that You love me
completely and unconditionally.
You love me so much
that You are laying open
my path before me.
Keep me always in Your heart, Lord,
surrounded by Your love,
and let me always
be deeper in love
with You.

I want to love You,
Lord,
with passion
and purity,
with a holy,
consuming fire
that burns deep within
me.
I want to lose myself
in You
and be swallowed up
in Your love.
I want to be
in the midst
of Your
heart.

My gentle savior,
He gave His life for me.
His tender mercies
flow from Calvary.
His loving hands
support me all the day;
His laughing smile
greets me on my way.
How I love the One
who died to set me free -
it's joy beyond compare
to have His life in me.

Your compassion
is there
for me.
In the midst
of a crowd
You see me
and care.
You reach out
to me
in love
and tenderness,
hold me,
and wipe the tears
from my eyes.
You are my comfort
and I rest
in Your love.
